Indigenous Peoples' Day

June Event

On every 21st of June, National Indigenous Peoples’ Day recognizes and celebrates the cultures and contributions of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples in Treaty 8 Territory. In line with embracing multiculturalism and diversity, the Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo joins the National Indigenous Peoples’ Day Planning Committee in engaging the public in traditional activities of the Indigenous Peoples residing in RMWB.
